Crapped on by a Seagull...

Siesta Key Beach... 82 degrees, a soft tropical breeze in January, idle beach banter in all directions, the rolling waves crashing near our toes. What a perfect way to spend an afternoon with Terri, relaxing in the sun, and....... BEING CRAPPED ON BY A SEAGULL!!!

The airborn intrusion occured late in the day, just as the smacking sound on my right forearm became reality. Whitish/purplish discoloration on my skin emerged, and for .2 seconds, I snapped my head left and right to scan and identify which human culprit had targeted ME for this foreign projectile... The ultimate squaking from 30 feet above was the key to the mystery, and other than frantic wiping of the arm onto a magazine, what can you really do?

Although this may be too kind a fate for this flying beast, if anyone knows where to find an accurate slingshot, my Christmas list for 2005 has a new wish at the top...
